Alpha-I is a valve sizing tool that performs sizing calculations for DeZURIK/Copes-Vulcan control valves based on your process conditions. The calculated data will provide the information required by the user in selecting a suitable valve for the process conditions input. After the sizing calculations are completed, Alpha-I is able to predict the system characteristic and calculate the valve's installed characteristic. The installed characteristic graph visually displays the relationship between flow rate
and percentage open of the valve.
