ME Consultant is a powerful collection of machining calculators and data tables organized inside a graphical interface. It's intended primarily for CNC programmers, engineers, planners, machinists, and hobbyists involved with machining or machined products. ME Consultant is freeware and there are no restrictions on its use.
I've worked very hard to make the program accurate and reliable, but there are too many variables in machining to allow any single person to always come up with an effective solution on the first try. A computer program has the additional burden of not having any way to measure the rigidity and integrity of a setup, or the quality and condition of a cutting tool. Even so, ME Consultant should prove to be a great asset when combined with some experience and common sense on your end.
