NOVA - Pipeline Design and Construction
Pipelines affect daily lives in most parts of the world. Modem man’s life has been based on structures in which energy fulfils a prevailing role. Oil and gas are major participants in this energy supply, and pipelines are means by which most of these forms of energy is transported. Wherever the largest pipeline networks are established, there is also the
highest standard of living and technological progress.
Among other means, we use oil and gas to generate electrical power. Using the generated electricity and/or oil and gas directly, we heat our houses, cook our meals and create environmentally comfortable living conditions. Petrochemical processes also use oil and gas to make useful products.
